Nart Shark is a rechargeable, battery assisted pool lift designed to move people with disabilities safely into the water. Vertical movement is handled by the device’s battery system, while an assistant guides lateral and forward/backward positioning. The lift does not require permanent socket installation and with its slim profile, can be wheeled away into storage when not in use. The lift is ideal for any aquatic or wellness environment, including hydrotherapy and public pools, spa and resort facilities and more.
The Nart Shark includes an emergency call button and a water-resistant remote control, and can also be operated directly from the power unit. A battery charge indicator keeps users informed of charge levels, while medical-grade wheels and vacuum-assisted emergency stoppers on the front wheels ensure safe movement on wet surfaces, complemented by a rear wheel brake mechanism. The lift is constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel. The seat is fully adjustable, with fine-tuning of ±100 mm in and above water across a 1,250 mm stroke length. The unit recharges via a standard 220V connection. The Nart Shark has a carrying capacity of 150 kg with a device weight of 200 kg. Pool entry takes approximately 45 seconds, with exit at around 55 seconds.
